Spanish-Catalan artist Bad Gyal is heating up the dance floor with "Fuma," her latest single that blends dancehall, electronic, and guaracha influences into one high-energy package. Released just days before her performance at Coca Cola Flow Fest, the track gives fans their first real taste of what to expect from her upcoming 2026 album. The song is available now on all streaming platforms.

Building on Her Genre-Bending Sound
"Fuma" follows Bad Gyal's recent experimentation with different Latin sounds. After exploring Kompa rhythms on "Última Noche" with Ozuna and diving into bachata with "Da Me," she's now delivering a fast-paced club track that's built for late-night sets and packed dance floors. The song channels the nostalgic electronic pulse of the late 2000s while keeping her signature edge intact, touching on themes of seduction and mystery that have become part of her brand.
The music video, directed by Didi Domenech (who also worked on "Bota Niña" featuring Anitta), captures that same intensity. Set in an ultraviolet-lit club with flashing strobes and a smoky atmosphere, Bad Gyal commands every frame. Her styling features designer pieces from Dsquared2, Coperni, and vintage finds from Agent Provocateur, Chanel, and Fendi, reinforcing her reputation as a fashion risk-taker.

From Awards Shows to International Tours
Bad Gyal's influence extends well beyond music. She recently turned heads at the CFDA Fashion Awards in an exclusive LUAR design, earning recognition from Vogue, WWD, and Grazia as one of the night's best-dressed attendees. Last month, she appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Spain, where she was named Woman of the Year for her impact on the industry and her global reach.
She also made an appearance at GQ Men of the Year Spain, where she presented an award to Daddy Yankee. (She had been named GQ Spain's Woman of the Year at last year's ceremony.) The artist first teased her 2026 album on the red carpet at Premios Juventud 2025, where she also performed "Da Me" live for the first time in Panama—her first solo release in over a year and a half.
What's Next for Bad Gyal
This weekend, Bad Gyal takes the stage at Coca Cola Flow Fest in Mexico City on November 23, performing alongside J Balvin and Young Miko. After that, she'll kick off an international tour in March 2026, starting in Spain with three sold-out shows at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona and multiple dates at Madrid's Movistar Arena. Additional stops include Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao, and A Coruña—several of which have already sold out.
With "Fuma," Bad Gyal is setting the stage for what looks like an ambitious new chapter. The single's eclectic production and club-ready energy hint at an album that's going to push her sound even further.
