San Juan was already talking about Clarent. But after this past Saturday, the conversation got a lot louder.
The Puerto Rican artist sold out Coca-Cola Music Hall for his debut hometown concert, a show that had been highly anticipated and reportedly moved tickets in minutes. The night served as the first major live presentation of his new era, and the timing couldn't have been sharper: just days after the show, Clarent announced his first performance at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, known locally as El Choli, one of the most significant venues in Latin music.

The Set
The setlist drew from across Clarent's catalog, mixing early breakout singles with new material from his recently released EP, No Vuelve a Suceder. Fan favorites like IA, Babayaga, Forni, and Scat Pack made the cut alongside newer tracks including Bienvenida, Burros, Maldad, and Love, giving the crowd a full picture of where Clarent started and where he's headed.
The EP itself has been posting strong numbers since its release. It debuted Top 3 in the U.S. and Top 5 globally on Spotify, and multiple tracks have held positions on streaming charts since. Bienvenida and Otro Momento both reached the top spots on the Apple Music San Juan chart, reflecting how deeply the project landed with his home audience.

The Guest List
The night had no shortage of moments. Izaak joined Clarent on stage for Traqueto, Pressure 9x19 performed Tropico, ROA and Midnvght appeared for the Reinaa Remix and Falsas Promesas Remix, and Dei V brought out Lolly, which sent the crowd into a different gear entirely.
The lineup of guests read like a snapshot of Puerto Rico's current urban music scene. Each collaboration carried weight beyond just the song itself, reflecting the network Clarent has built during his rise and the mutual respect between artists in this new wave.

The Plaques
Backstage, Warner Music Latin presented Clarent with a series of RIAA certification plaques recognizing the reach his catalog has built. IA earned 2x Platinum in the U.S., while Traqueto, Sport+ Remix, and Babayaga each received Platinum certifications. Scat Pack came in at Gold. Additional certifications from Colombia and Spain were also part of the presentation, pointing to a fanbase that extends well beyond the island.
For a debut hometown show, the backstage ceremony added another layer to what was already a milestone night.

What Comes Next
The Coliseo announcement, dropped just days after the Coca-Cola Music Hall sellout, made clear that Clarent's team isn't slowing down. El Choli has hosted some of the biggest names in Latin music, and landing a headline date there this early in a career says something about the trajectory.
Rolling Stone called him one of Puerto Rico's top artists. Billboard noted he's cementing his place as one of Latin music's freshest voices. The Coca-Cola Music Hall show was the live proof behind those assessments, and the Coliseo date signals that the next chapter is already being written.
