Myke Towers Receives Diamond and Platinum Certifications in Mexico at Tecate Pa'l Norte

Ahead of his performance at Tecate Pa'l Norte 2026, Warner Music México presented the Puerto Rican artist with two commemorative plaques grouping together a range of certifications earned across his catalog in Mexico. It was the first time Towers had received these honors in the country, and the list of certified tracks made clear just how deeply his music has landed there.

The Certifications

The plaques covered eleven tracks, spanning Diamond, Triple Platinum, Double Platinum, Platinum, and Gold certifications. Here's the full breakdown:

"LALA" earned Diamond, Double Platinum, and Gold. "La Falda" came in at Triple Platinum and Gold. "Adivino" with Bad Bunny matched that with Triple Platinum and Gold. "Degenere" and "Almas Gemelas" each received Platinum and Gold. "Experimento" earned Platinum on its own. And six tracks landed at Gold: "Soleao" with Quevedo, "Ulala (Ooh La La)," "Se Te Nota" with Peso Pluma, "Mal de Amores" with Junior H, and "Mírenme Ahora."

The plaques were presented by Alejandro Mejía, General Manager of Warner Music México, alongside Marketing Director Yusim Aladro, Marketing Manager José Unzueta, and A&R Manager Kiks Botello.

The Performance

After the ceremony, Towers took the Tecate Pa'l Norte stage and delivered a set built around his biggest records. "La Curiosidad," "Soleao," "LALA," "Degenere," and "Mírenme Ahora" were among the highlights, drawing from a catalog that spans several years and multiple sonic directions. The crowd at one of Mexico's most prominent music festivals responded accordingly.

Pa'l Norte has a reputation for bringing out serious performances, and Towers matched the moment.

Already cemented as Latin royalty.

Where He Stands

The Mexico certifications are one data point in a much larger picture. In 2025 alone, Towers logged his sixteenth number one on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart, a milestone that puts him in rare company in Latin radio history. He also dominated Mediabase's year-end charts in Contemporary Spanish and Tropical, and received the Agente de Cambio award at Premios Juventud for his philanthropic work through the Young Kingz Foundation.

His most recent album, Island Boyz, pushed his sound into new territory, blending reggaeton with afrobeats, salsa, and Latin R&B. The collaborator list included Quevedo, Omah Lay, Ludmilla, and Gabito Ballesteros, a mix that reflects both his musical range and his reach across different markets. Stadium dates from Juárez to Lima backed the album on the road.

The Mexico certifications, the festival headline, the radio records, and the album cycle are all part of the same story. Myke Towers is not an artist building toward something. He's already there.
